How Google Cloud helps Lush increase its sales and sustainability
With Google Cloud, beauty brand @LushArchive has been able increase its sales and sustainability in three ways. Lush migrated 17 global e-commerce websites to Compute Engine and Cloud SQL in just 22 days, where they are powered by 100% renewable energy. Because Lush sells cosmetics without packaging, the company used Google Cloud’s AI platform to develop Lush Lens, a mobile app that can recognize its products and supply consumers with instructions and ingredients. The beauty brand also worked with @Google‘s platform to create Lush Pay, a point-of-sale program that lets employees make sales anywhere in the store.
