How Google Cloud supports the Lao Friends Hospital for Children
Google Cloud and RAD-AID International teamed up to help the Lao Friends Hospital for Children. The hospital is very isolated and needed a secure system to store and view radiology and medical imaging—large and complex image files that are critical for quality care. Placing a compact server with access to the cloud within the hospital empowered doctors and gave them the ability to compare images to determine whether a patient was improving or needed different treatment.
